Shoes are endemic to the culture of basketball. A big part of creating an authentic basketball experience is bringing the best shoes to the virtual hardwood.

Returning this year are brands like Nike, Adidas, Jordan, Spalding and Under Armour. For the first time ever, we are excited to bring new brands that were requested by the fans, such as Peak, Anta and Li-Ning. As players look to create their identity through their shoes, we want to capture that in NBA 2K14. Working with new companies, as well as existing ones, allows us to continue to nail the authenticity of NBA basketball.

Your favorite players in the NBA like LeBron James, Kobe Bryant, Derrick Rose, Chris Paul, Kevin Durant and others, will see updated releases of their signature shoes.

Tony Parker has a signature Peak shoe that he’ll be donning this year on the floor. Others like Kevin Garnett, who is signed with Anta, will also be reflected in our game.

D-Wade fans should be excited for him to be wearing Li-Ning shoes in-game shortly after launch. Then there are updated color ways. One prime example of this is when Christmas time rolls around and players are wearing their Christmas edition shoes, you’ll see those updates in NBA 2K14.
