The Minnesota Timberwolves forward showed up to Saturday's practice without his beard, and his baby-faced new look made him almost unrecognizable.
"He looks like he's about 12 years old," Timberwolves coach Rick Adelman told Minneapolis' The Star-Tribune. "I don't think anybody recognized him."
Love first sported a creepy mustache, tweeting "What do you think of my new haircut?" He opted to get rid of his new look, saying "I couldn't look in the mirror and see my dad every time."
Teammate Ricky Rubio was quick to make a very politically incorrect tweet: "Ok, he doesn't look like a mexican anymore but I think he looks even worst … Here is our superstar."
The injury-riddled Timberwolves (26-38) have two games remaining and Love is hopeful to make a return after missing five games with a neck sprain and concussion. He's averaging 26 points and 13.3 rebounds a game this season.
