2013–14 NBA season

- Chandler Parsons transforms into a franchise superstar.
- James Harden is one of the top 3 MVP candidates for this season.
- Dwight Howard is on his prime leading his team to the Finals.
- The Rockets will face the Miami Heat in the 2014 NBA Finals.
- Game 7 takes place in American Airlines Arena. Home-court advantage for the Heat.
2014–15 NBA season
- Center Omer Asik got traded from Rockets to Warriors.
- Golden State Warriors dominated the league throughout the season.
- The Warriors will face the Heat in best of 7 series for the 2015 NBA championship title.
- Game 7 in Oakland, California. Home of the Warriors.
2015–16 NBA season
- Carmelo Anthony and Kevin Love join forces with Lakers' Kobe Bryant and Pau Gasol.
- The Lakers also manage to acquire the Spanish point guard Jose Calderon.
- The LA Lakers advanced to the NBA 2016 Finals to face LeBron James and his crew.
- Game 7 in Staples Center to capture the Larry O’Brien trophy.
2016–17 NBA season
- The Washington Wizards is one of the dominant teams in this season.
- Wizards' Big 3: John Wall, Bradley Beal, and Otto Porter.
- The Wizards must beat the Heat in Miami in Game 7 of the Eastern Conference Finals.
2017–18 NBA season
- Roy Hibbert and Anthony Davis join forces with Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook.
- The Oklahoma City Thunder will get their second chance to knock off the Heat to get their first championship title. With OKC's new acquisitions, it's going to be tough for the Miami Heat.
2018–19 NBA season
- Bulls has reached a deal to acquire Blake Griffin and Victor Oladipo.
- Derrick Rose has won the Most Valuable Player Award during the regular season.
- The Miami Heat must defeat the Chicago Bulls in Game 7 to win the Eastern conference series.
2019–20 NBA season
- This is the final season for the Heat Dynasty journey of LeBron James.
- Dirk Nowitzki has retired from professional basketball, but Mark Cuban has rebuilt the Mavericks with lots of new talents (fictional players).
- Also, the Mavs lure Kobe Bryant out of retirement to fight the Heat in the Finals while he tries to capture his 7th ring.
LeBron: Path to Greatness is one of the new mode in NBA 2K14 (PC, PS3 & Xbox 360). The game is set to be released on the first of October 2013.
